The town council has launched its first stage Biodiversity Action Plan for 2026 – 2028. The plan is the result of the council’s Policy Review Sub-Committee working hard to fulfil the council’s statutory duties for The Environment (Wales) Act 2016. This Act put in place legislation needed to plan and manage Wales’ natural resources in a more proactive, sustainable and joined-up way.
