Prestatyn to Host Live Music Event at High Street: 22/08/26

Mayoral Rocks will take place on Prestatyn High Street on Saturday 22nd August 2026 from noon to 8 p.m., featuring live rock music from a variety of bands and artists including Marnie Bailey, Andy Fogg, Rhys Byrne, and further special guests. Visitors will also be able to enjoy refreshments and stalls alongside the day’s live music line-up, and all are welcome to attend.

Mayor of Prestatyn, Anton Sampson, says: “It’s a great pleasure to be hosting Mayoral Rocks in our high street. This event will showcase some of our local talent. Being a music fan myself, I’m well aware of the impact that it can have on general wellbeing, which I think is probably very welcome at the moment. It’s an opportunity for Prestatyn to get together and celebrate what we have.”

The day’s events will be hosted by the Mayor of Prestatyn and Prestatyn Town Council, with any profits to be donated towards two of the Mayor’s chosen charities: St. Kentigern Hospice, and the RNLI. For the event, a section of Prestatyn High Street, between just after Kings Avenue turning to just before Fern Avenue, will be closed between the hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
