Within the Township of Prestatyn and Meliden we are extremely fortunate to have 2 top class Golf Courses.

 

The first of these is Prestatyn Golf Club, the magnificent championship links course is situated off the coast road A548 to the east of the town on superb unspoiled links land. It enjoys a temperate climate and its seaside location ensures that golfers can play the greens all year round on superb turf.

The stunning course, welcoming clubhouse, breathtaking scenery and challenges like no other, combine to provide for exceptional golfing and socialising.

The second being St Melyd, in its setting below a wooded hillside above the town of Prestatyn, the  Club is a mature parkland course with tree lined fairways and excellent greens. The Club is only some ten minutes from the A55 arterial expressway with Manchester and Liverpool within an hour’s drive and Chester only thirty miles away.

St Melyd is a 9 hole course, but having 18 tees, it provides a different perspective for each hole as can be seen from our hole by hole guide. The Course provides a challenge for golfers of all abilities who can be assured it is always presented in the best possible condition.

The Club provides a warm welcome to members, holiday golfers and golfing societies alike in the spacious clubhouse with stunning views over the course towards distant Snowdonia. The well appointed lounge, Spike Bar and excellent restaurant caters for all tastes from bar snacks to celebration banquets catering for up to 120 guests.
