Walking

Prestatyn is known for its beautiful walks with stunning surroundings and the ‘Walkers are Welcome’ accreditation. Prestatyn is also the start or end of the Offa’s Dyke path for the more avid walkers amongst you.

To help both residents and visitors make the most out of the various walks you can join the ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ social walking scheme which is completely free and open to anyone to join in. With walks to suit all ages and abilities led by trained volunteer Walk Leaders, where you can start slowly and build up gently to harder walks.

There are front and back leaders to guide walkers, encouraging them to walk at their own pace.  There are lots of opportunities to chat, take in the scenery, discover more about your local area and make new friends with over 87% of people joining the walks to enjoy the social element that the scheme can offer.
