START SOMETHING GOOD – 4 WEEK COURSE

Hello We are excited to invite you to the Start Something Good four-week online course. There will be one for people in North Wales, and another for people in South Wales who want to develop the building blocks of a social enterprise start-up. Whatever the social impact you are looking to create, if you have a vision for change, this short course will be the perfect way to get your idea off the ground. What will the course include? • An opportunity to meet others online who want to create social change. • A focus on profit for purpose, people, and planet. • Learning about the essential parts of a social enterprise. • Finding out what support is available for new social enterprises from Social Business Wales New Start and other support agencies. • Network with social entrepreneurs who have set up successful social enterprises. The course will be led by Prith Biant and Business Advisors from the Social Business Wales New Start programme. Prith Biant is an artist and Creative Facilitator with over 15 years experience in business. She has a degree in Communication Studies, and Masters in Business Administration and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. She runs her own creative consultancy and has previously established a social enterprise to support women regain their confidence and independence after experiencing domestic violence. Prith will be joined each week with a Business Advisor from your area and a selection of guest speakers sharing their knowledge and experience. For more information contact marketingteam@wales.coop.
